Terms & Conditions

By submitting your photographs, images, graphics, likeness, personal information, videos and/or other works of authorship, you agree to all of the following:

1. You are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of submission.
2. Your submission is your original works and does not infringe upon the intellectual property or other rights of any third party. Any designations and/or identifications to specific armed forces captured within images, text, or sound may be altered to remain compliant with federal law.
3. Your submission does not and will not violate any applicable laws, and is not and will not be defamatory or libelous. You further agree not to disparage National University or its affiliate Universities, its officers, directors, trustees, employees, agents, contractors, partners or representatives.
4. Your submission does not otherwise violate the Terms of Use for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or any other social media platform used to publish your submission.
5. You agree and acknowledge, on behalf or yourself and your respective children, heirs and other assignees to indemnify, release, discharge, defend and hold harmless the National University System, National University and its affiliates, officers, directors, trustees, employees, agents, contractors, partners and representatives, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, and each of their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, successors and assigns, and each of their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, and representatives (the “Released Parties”), from and against any and all claims, demands, expenses, losses or liabilities including but not limited to reasonable attorney’s fees and punitive damages that may be asserted against or incurred by any of the Released Parties at any time arising out of or in connection with the use of said photographs, images, graphics, likeness, personal information, videos and/or other works of authorship.
6. You agree and acknowledge that National University System, National University and its affiliates, are the owners of said photograph, image, film, video, sound and/or writing conveyed or contained within your submission, the copyrights pertaining thereto and any and all other rights, benefits or privileges arising therefrom, now and hereafter without limitation.
7. You agree and acknowledge that National University, together with its affiliates, is the owner and organizer of the images and filming of these submissions, and having control over them as owners, you agree that any subsequent and additional images, video, and/or sound taken by or produced by National University and its Affiliates may be released without your prior written consent.
8. You agree and acknowledge that National University reserves the right to remove any submitted/posted content at any time for any reason.
